Final Countdown.
We look around and what we see? The ever changing spinning wheel we call our planet is going through a very important and critical moment. Economic Crisis? US election? Global Warming?. The answer is Simon.
Where do we stand? Right in the middle of it. And as central part of these issues we must take our level of response- ability and act in the measure of our possibilities.
It is not doubt that we face an unprecedent Global Financial Crisis. In big part as a consequence of an irresponsible Globalization of the Economy. In part to our culture of consumption. (Speaking to myself I would say it is good time to reconsider what really matters and how I spend my piece of the Pie).
Very connected to the economic Crisis stands and more importantly the Environmental Crisis I honestly believe that the more we consume the more pollute. Let´s go to Macy´s we buy a Key Chain for example. We get the box of the key chain, we get the fancy paper back, and get the surround paper to wrap the box of the key chain that goes inside the fancy paper back. Aaahhhh. I saw everyday on the Avenida Zaragosa in Mexico City a huge traffic Jam thanks to the Irresponsability of the people that throws the trash on the street, then it rains, trash clogs the sewage system. And here it is a million people stuck in traffic thanks to the thrash of their tasty snacks.
And last but not least I wanna used these humble and very deserted space to endorse Senator Obama. I believe in our time we´ll see History take a positive spin if Mister Obama becomes President of the United States. Hold your horses am not saying World Peace but at least the Redemption of the US as a pionner and a voice of Respect in the eyes of his neighbors.
I leave you all with the words of Sir Stephen Hawking ´´We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us very special``.
